Pilot on Mars takes inspiration from the authors of the Beat Generation, the poems and works of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Neal Cassady and William Burroughs, and works with the
songwriter Martin Jacklin.
Pilot on Mars, with its strong and elegant blues-rock style, is a tribute to freedom.
Between sweet madness, tribulations and profound purity, it is with overwhelming sincerity that
these artists take us on a journey to rediscover every corner of our soul.
They perform in various diverse project themes: music for theatre, literature
presentations, as
well as contemporary dance. Their musical path, like the Jack Kerouac’s scroll, is full of rich
experiences and generates a power which they share with their audience.
In 2016 Pilot on Mars recorded 164 Orchard Street in
New York with Jon Spencer, James Chance, Robin
Girod, Rocio and Matt Verta Ray.
